Construction Walls Go Up At Silver Dollar City

Silver Dollar City has recently re-opened for the 2021 season. The park, coming off the recent success of Mystic River Falls appears to have more projects in line.

Construction walls have gone up around the exterior portions of Fireman’s Landing. The walls are crudely built, with trees poking through holes in the wall, perhaps in a reference to the Bald Knobber theming rampant in that section of the park.

The area is located right off the main part of Fireman’s Landing seen in the center of the image below. The section on the left is the area of land where Mystic River Falls was built.

With the construction / digging being focused by the section of park geared towards families, that begs the question what could this project be? Could it be a new coaster? Could we see the further expansion of Fireman’s Landing with a new attraction? Looking at the timeline of this project, this does not appear to be anything for the 2021 season. It looks as if we might have our first hint at a project for 2022.
