Situated on the second tallest hill of the coaster, the new complex will provide scenic views of the park and the neighboring Mount Fuji. Originally designed to aid the park with daily inspection, the expansion of the scope of the project created a one-of-a kind attraction.

The park provided a brief description of the new attraction:

The main highlight of the attraction is the signature views being provided of Mount Fuji. The 55 meter tall skydeck will provide a clear view showing the lush forests around the mountain.

For thrill seekers, the attraction provides a rope course and slide tower. The rope course will place adrenaline junkies beside the Fujiyama coaster as cars speed past. When it opens, the slide will be one of the tallest in the world.

To facilitate construction, the Fujiyama coaster will be closed starting in February 2021. It is unknown how long the closure will last.
This project will be followed by a brand new coaster in 2022. Details are scarce about the attraction, but it is known that the coaster will cost more than $34 million dollars.
