Coconut Shores Waterpark Expansion Coming To Kings Dominion in 2020

Kings Dominion is expanding their Soak City waterpark  in 2020 with the addition of  an all new Coconut Shores Area! This new expansion will offer three new additions providing the perfect place for families to cool down and have fun!

Kids of all ages can explore their way to the top of Lighthouse Landing, a 45-ft tall multi-level aqua play structure featuring hundreds of interactive elements for a splashtastic time. Lighthouse Landing is set in an oversized wading pool and combines the interactivity of a play structure with water slides providing fun for the whole family. The multi-level play structure will feature two gigantic tipping buckets and more than 200 interactive features, eight twisting slides and more.

The little ones can find their own piece of paradise at Sand Dune Lagoon. This 3,000 square foot (24″ deep) mini wave pool will feature 1-foot tall waves so kids can splash and play all day! Beachy creatures like coastal crabs and tropical turtles will add to the fun along the beach while a waterfall sets the scene for playtime under the sun as moms and dads relax nearby.

The new Coconut Shores area will also offer a new dining experience showcasing a variety of flavors designed by their executive chef  bringing families together for a relaxing meal! Delight in Latin and Asian flavors or enjoy family favorites like flatbread pizza the whole family can enjoy. Accompanying the savory tastes will be alcoholic beverages for guests 21+.
