Rumor Mill: Is Six Flags Creating a New Park?

Ever since the acquisition of the rights to operate five properties, rumors regarding Six Flags next steps have been spreading like wildfire. Those rumors gained some substance today when a listing for a park aptly named Kids World appeared on the Six Flags website.

The park, situated in Springfield, would cater directly towards kids. The rides included in the park include the following pint sized attractions:

  • Canyon Blaster: The brakes are off on this fast-paced family mine car adventure through the woods of our Jr. Thrillseekers area. Oddly enough, the ride pictured is Canyon Blaster from Great Escape.

  • Rocky’s Ranger PlanesFly old timey planes on this circular tour of Timbertown.

  • Ship’s Ahoy!Fly through the air on a swinging boat ride, sailing high and low on waves of excitement.

  • The Great Chase: Junior thrills, major smiles. Oddly enough, the ride pictured is The Great Chase from Six Flags New England.

While the site could be a test site for the new China properties, the fact that this site is in English and it being so far in development, lead us to believe that it is genuine. What do you think? Is this a test site, or a teaser for things yet to come?
