Howl-O-Scream Returns to Busch Gardens Tampa With New Scares
Fear returns to Tampa Bay for 19 menacing nights of new nightmares. Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa returns September 21 through October 28. This year’s event features new terrifying scare zones, creepers on coasters and a 17 and older (recommended) experience that takes screams to the extreme.
One of the new experiences is Insomnia. Has you step into this haunted asylum, you’ll find that every door leads to your worst nightmare and that the doctor is accepting new patients. Patients will be forced to stay awake as they receive twisted treatments from demented doctors.
Simon’s Slaughterhouse is the intense experiences suggested for guests 17 and older. By merely stepping inside, you have agreed to play Simon’s sick and twisted games. To enter this horrifying realm, you must journey through the Meat Market where cannibalstic creatures feast on the weak as they add to their Monster Menu of human hors d’oeuvres.
This year’s event also features several new scare zones:
- Camp D.O.A – A night at this deadly campground ensures a sleepover like no other. Campers should sleep with one eye open as swamp mutants arise to make sure nobody gets a good night’s rest at this haunted marsh.
- Deadly Toys – Lock up your toy box because life-size toys are heading out on a murderous rampage and no one is safe from their deadly wrath.
- Hell on Wheels – This nefarious motorcycle gang is willing to do the unspeakable to protect their survival supplies. If you’re planning to approach this apocalyptic stronghold, this gruesome gang may prevent you from escaping.
- Maniac Midway – Join Sparky and his carnie crew as you step into the center ring at the “scariest show on earth”. Clowns have overtaken the midway looking for the newest stars of this horrid attraction.
- Dia de los Meurtos – This mysterious realm includes a one-of-a-kind celebration of life and a parade to honor those who have gone before us.
Howl-O-Scream runs from 7:30 PM – 1:00 AM each night. You can also purchase a Front Line Fear pass that grants access to all haunted houses and special discount offers throughout the park.
