Carowinds Offers The Ultimate Halloween Event In the Carolinas

As the temperature starts to change, an incredibly line-up of frightfully fun festivities are brewing at Carowinds. Whether you’re looking to face your worst nightmares or want to enjoy some family friendly Halloween fun, there’s something for you.

During the daytime, Planet Snoopy is transformed into the ultimate kid’s Halloween party at Great Pumpkin Fest. New for 2016 is The Monsters Are Coming Charlie Brown where you can sing along to some kooky tunes with Charlie Brown and the gang and Halloween Hullabaloo where you can enjoy a family-oriented musical review of Halloween hits. Peter the Talking Pumpkin will also be there to chat without throughout the day.

Kids can dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes and participate in a daily Kid Costume Parade, go trick-or-treating, and visit their favorite barnyard animals. There will also be special screenings of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” to celebrate its 50^th anniversary.

When night falls, the monsters rise from the shadows at SCarowinds. New for 2016 is Dark Harvest where guests will have to test their survival skills while navigating through a two-story barn and corn field. Straying too far from the path could mean a “dead” end! In E.H. Baily’s Psycho Circus, the members of this traveling circus will strike terror in your heart. They have everything from hobo clowns to escaped animals. Back by popular demand this year is Blood Drums. This brotherhood of drummers smashes out in the best junkyard grunge music in an explosive blend of high-energy percussion, blood, rhythms, and sparks!
