Morey’s Piers Announces Runaway Tram
After Morey’s Piers decided to remove the iconic Flitzer from Surfside Pier, many in the enthusiast community thought the park would get a new coaster. Their wishes have been answered, since the iconic seaside park has decided to build a much-larger coaster, the Runaway Tram.
Manufactured by Zierer, this will be the second installation of the Flying Eagle model of the iconic Force coaster product line. The ride will stand 36 feet tall, have speeds exceeding 28 mph, and travel along 920 feet of track.
The ride is expected to open in early 2019.
