Kings Island Announces New Year’s Eve Celebration
This year, Kings Island is offering a brand new way to celebrate New Year’s Eve with a family-friendly alternative: New Year’s Eve at WinterFest! Join Snoopy’s Rockin’ Countdown Party, see Charlie Brown’s New Year’s Eve Celebration, and finish the night with fireworks at the stroke of midnight!
Tinker’s Early New Year’s Extravaganza • 7:30– 9:30PM | Tinker’s Spielzeug Haus
Join the eager elves of Tinker’s Toy Factory for an early, family-friendly New Year’s Eve Countdown featuring character interactions and a giant balloon drop at 8:00PM.
The countdown begins at 7:59PM.
Charlie Brown’s New Year’s Eve Celebration • 8:00PM – 11:30PM | PEANUTS™ Showplace
Celebrate the New Year with the PEANUTS gang in this interactive party zone including character meet & greets, oversized lawn games and fun, family-friendly music!
Oh, What Fun It Is To Ride • 5:00PM – 12:00AM
Enjoy your final rides of the year on some of your favorite attractions.
Snoopy’s Rockin’ Countdown • 10:00PM – 1:00AM | International Street Bandstand
Join Snoopy and select Midway Merriment characters as they ring in the New Year like never before! Watch as our 314-ft. tall magical Christmas tree is transformed into a giant countdown.
Leading up to Midnight, a live DJ will be spinning modern hits to get you moving and keep you warm.
New Year’s Countdown • 10:00PM– 1:00AM | Tinker’s Spielzeug Haus
Enjoy live music from Kings Island band members leading up to a midnight countdown.
On New Year’s Eve, from 7:00PM – 1:00AM, the International Restaurant will be transformed into the “New Year’s Eve Lounge” for guests ages 21 and up, where they’ll have an opportunity to ring in 2019 in a club-like atmosphere featuring a live DJ, dance floor, lounge area, hand-crafted cocktails and light snacks — all paired with the stunning view of International Street and the Eiffel Tower.
Admission granted with a cover charge, which includes one complimentary drink ticket. Space has a limited capacity. Admission granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Re-entry not guaranteed after leaving the venue.
