Universal Launching Year-Round Horror Experience in Las Vegas
Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX), renowned for creating the iconic Halloween Horror Nights, has unveiled plans for Universal Horror Unleashed, its first-ever year-round horror attraction, set to debut in Las Vegas in 2025.
Nestled within a shadowy warehouse at the outskirts of Las Vegas, Universal Horror Unleashed promises to deliver an unrelenting spectacle of terror. Drawing from decades of expertise in crafting some of the most spine-chilling films and events, UDX invites guests to immerse themselves in a horror experience like no other, where the fears typically confined to the silver screen will come vividly to life.
Visitors will brave four chilling haunted houses, each featuring its own harrowing narrative:
- “Universal Monsters”
- “Scarecrow: The Reaping”
- “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”
- “Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer”
These attractions are designed for those seeking thrills, with intense environments that envelop guests in unspeakable horror.
But the frights don’t stop there. Surrounding the haunted houses will be four uniquely themed immersive zones, offering an array of live entertainment experiences.
Guests can indulge in horror-themed dining and drink options at eerie eateries and bars scattered throughout the venue. Additionally, the experience will be continually refreshed with seasonal events and exclusive merchandise, ensuring that visitors can confront their darkest fears time and again.
The venue will use various portals to transport guests into a new realm.
Originally announced in 2023, Universal Horror Unleashed is a key element of UDX’s strategy to expand its offerings into new markets and reach wider audiences. It will serve as the centerpiece of a 20-acre expansion at AREA15, a cutting-edge entertainment district in Las Vegas.

With a history of defining horror through classic films featuring legendary figures such as Frankenstein, The Mummy, and the Wolf Man, Universal continues to elevate the genre, presenting it in thrilling, immersive formats. UDX is expected to reveal more details about Universal Horror Unleashed in the coming months.
