SeaWorld San Antonio Launches All-New Wave Breaker Site
2017 is going to be a huge year for SeaWorld San Antonio, with its first major thrill ride since 2007. SeaWorld just released a new website for the ride. The site will post monthly construction updates and other news throughout the spring until it opens.
The site also gives some information on SeaWorld’s rescue team. Some of the stories on the site now are about one of the park’s orca whales, Sakari. SeaWorld also recently started a partnership with the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network.

The site also shows pictures of the jet ski themed coaster cars that were unveiled at IAAPA. Check out the video below!
Wave Breaker will be America’s first Intamin coaster since 2012. It will reach speeds of 44 miles per hour, a height of 61 feet, and a track length of 2,600 feet. It’s the first coaster in North America to feature the jet ski cars. Construction photos will be updated on the website monthly so that guests can follow along in the construction process.
