Record-Breaking Tilt Coaster To Open At Six Flags Qiddiya City
Six Flags Qiddiya has revealed a groundbreaking new attraction set to make waves worldwide: ‘Iron Rattler,’ the world’s tallest tilt coaster, soon to open as a major draw in Saudi Arabia’s new entertainment hub.
Standing over 197 feet tall, ‘Iron Rattler’ introduces a unique tilt feature that takes riders from a horizontal to vertical, 90-degree position, leaving them momentarily suspended before launching into a gravity-defying plunge.
Manufactured by the renowned Dutch company Vekoma, known for its innovative coaster designs and engineering, the ride will reach speeds of 73 mph along a 4,068-foot track packed with adrenaline-pumping elements, including a double Zero-G roll, camelbacks, carousel turns, and five inversions.
Throughout the ride, thrill-seekers can expect 12 airtime moments, making it a memorable experience for even the most seasoned thrill seekers.
This record-breaking tilt coaster is the latest addition to the Six Flags Qiddiya lineup, which includes ‘Falcon’s Flight,’ the world’s tallest, longest, and fastest roller coaster.
Falcon’s Flight will feature a 519 feet drop, span over 2.5 miles and reach speeds of 155 mph, taking riders soaring through canyons and along cliffs for a high-speed adventure that blends seamlessly with Qiddiya’s striking natural landscape.
Located just outside Riyadh, Six Flags Qiddiya is poised to become a centerpiece of Saudi Arabia’s expanding entertainment sector, drawing international tourists and local thrill-seekers alike.
Covering more than 80 acres, the park is divided into six themed lands:
- The City of Thrills
- Discovery Springs
- Steam Town
- Twilight Gardens
- Valley of Fortune
- Grand Exposition
Each land is designed to immerse visitors in unique environments with rides, shows, and attractions for all ages.
The park will feature over 28 rides, including record-setting roller coasters, family-friendly attractions, and live entertainment shows. With its combination of high-energy thrills and immersive landscapes, Six Flags Qiddiya will provide a world-class entertainment experience that caters to a wide range of interests.
