Hersheypark Unveils Shaq-A-Licious Laff Trakk for Halloween
Hersheypark is bringing big personality to its Halloween lineup this fall with the debut of Shaq-A-Licious Laff Trakk, a first-of-its-kind ride overlay inspired by Shaquille O’Neal and his Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies. The glowing transformation of the park’s popular indoor spinning coaster will headline the Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights event, running Fridays through Sundays from September 12 to November 2, 2025.

The collaboration between Hersheypark, The Hershey Company, and O’Neal marks the park’s first-ever immersive coaster overlay. Guests will encounter glowing visuals, candy-themed graphics, amped-up audio, and playful narration from Shaq himself as they spin through a reimagined funhouse experience.
“We’re taking the flavor and the fun of my Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies and blowing it up into a larger-than-life adventure,” said O’Neal. “From the second you step inside, this ride brings non-stop energy and laughs.”

The limited-time makeover is inspired by Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies, oversized candies launched in 2024 that feature Shaq’s larger-than-life personality in both sweet and sour varieties. At Hersheypark, that spirit will extend beyond the ride itself with exclusive food, beverage, and retail offerings tied to the brand.
Laff Trakk, which celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2025, was the first indoor, spinning, glow coaster in the U.S. Known for its dizzying hall of mirrors and colorful funhouse theme, it will now serve as the perfect stage for Shaq’s over-the-top Halloween adventure.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Shaquille O’Neal on a one-of-a-kind ride experience you can only find at Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights,” said Vikki Hultquist, Vice President of Hersheypark and Entertainment Operations. “Get ready for a bigger, bolder, XL ride through a Shaq-ified world of giant glowing gummies, bass-pumping beats, and fruit-flavored mayhem.”

This year, Hersheypark’s Halloween and Dark Nights seasonal events promise plenty of frights and fun for all ages. Guests can explore five haunted houses, including the brand-new Kill ‘N Fill Garage, along with four scare zones such as the debuting Path of Shadows: Coven’s Curse. The event also includes more than 50 attractions, nighttime rides on coasters, trick-or-treating, live entertainment, and the return of the Hersheypark Halloween Tasting Pass with themed food and drinks.
The Hersheypark Halloween seasonal event and Dark Nights haunt experience runs for eight weekends from Friday, Sept. 12, through Nov. 2, 2025. Tickets are on sale now, with a special pre-sale price of $49.99 available Here.
