Harry Potter Fans Come Together For A Celebration Of Harry Potter
This weekend, fans from around the world came together at Universal Orlando for the fourth annual A Celebration of Harry Potter. Guests of the event had the opportunity to partake in a variety of Harry Potter inspired events throughout the course of the weekend.
A number of stars from the movies as well as some of the people who brought the films to life were on hand to celebrate with guests. For the first time ever, Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) and Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick and Griphook) joined returning star, Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom). In addition to on screen stars, some of the film’s creative talent were there including Nick Dudman, make-up and creature effects designer.
The event also featured its largest Harry Potter Expo yet where guests were able to see authentic props and the incredible behind-the-scenes talent that went into creating the Harry Potter film series. Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima, graphic designers, had a booth showing off various prop prints from the films.
Additionally, guests were able to learn the art of wand dueling, hosted by the world’s only Wand Combat Choreographer, Paul Harris. Guests were able to actually pickup a wand and take part in a live dueling master class! There were also a number of other activities for celebration guests throughout the weekend ranging from Q&A sessions with the talent to live talent.
