Cedar Point To Launch 2024 Hiring Blitz: Offering 7000 Seasonal Jobs
Cedar Point, renowned as The Roller Coaster Capital of the World, is gearing up to welcome thrill-seekers for the 2024 season in May by launching an ambitious hiring spree.
The iconic amusement park aims to recruit 7,000 seasonal associates to cater to its diverse operational needs. To achieve this goal, Cedar Point is organizing a week-long hiring event from February 17th to 24th, both online and at the Cedar Point Recruiting Center located in Sandusky, Ohio.
As the cornerstone of Cedar Point’s workforce, these seasonal associates play a pivotal role in bringing the park’s mission of spreading joy to life. With an array of positions up for grabs, including ride operators, food and beverage staff, lifeguards, security personnel, hotel staff, maintenance workers, and various behind-the-scenes roles, prospective employees have a multitude of opportunities to contribute to the park’s success.
The compensation package for these roles ranges from $13 to $17 per hour, catering to individuals aged 16 and above, with wages based on experience, tenure, and job responsibilities.
Alongside competitive wages, Cedar Point offers an enticing array of benefits and perks for its employees, such as discounts, reward and recognition programs, exclusive associate-only events, ride nights, on-site housing for eligible candidates, and complimentary admission to all Cedar Fair parks.
Throughout the week-long event, Cedar Point will host in-person job fairs at the Cedar Point Recruiting Center, situated at 2210 1st St. in Sandusky, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Prospective candidates will have the opportunity to apply, interview, and potentially secure employment on the same day.

Whether stationed at the forefront interacting with visitors or overseeing backstage operations, every employee has the chance to make a significant impact on guest satisfaction.
This hiring blitz aligns with Cedar Fair Entertainment’s broader strategy to recruit approximately 35,000 seasonal associates across its network of parks in 2024. Anticipating a surge in interest, Cedar Fair plans to conduct hiring events simultaneously across all parks in the United States and Canada from February 17th to 24th.

Cedar Point will open for the 2024 season on May 4 with the debut of the new Top Thrill 2 roller coaster — The World’s Tallest & Fastest Triple-Launch Strata Coaster.
