Cedar Point To Close Select Days in June
The Covid-19 Pandemic of 2020 has severely impacted the amusement and entertainment industries. While many parks are looking past 2020, the repercussions are wrecking havoc for many 2021 plans. Cedar Point is one of many parks impacted by the aftermath of the pandemic.

Originally, when the 2021 season calendar was announced, Cedar Point had numerous 10pm closings along with full week operations. A few weeks afterwards, most of the June 10pm closings were silently removed. This was assumed to be the last change to the schedule, until Tuesdays and Wednesdays were blocked off the calendars.
Today, Cedar Point has officially announced that due to labor issues, they will be closed select days in June.
Park officials say “Guests who have booked an overnight stay or have made ticket or Season Pass park reservations will be contacted directly with further information”.

Reservations are still required for all guests visiting Cedar Point in 2021. Reservations are included when purchasing a single day ticket. Passholders are required to make their own reservations. Each passholder will need a reservation for entry into Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores, every time you plan to visit. Reservations can be made online here.
All guests, including passholders, who have booked a stay at Hotel Breakers, Lighthouse Point, or the Express Hotel, will receive guaranteed entry into Cedar Point during the dates of their stay.

Cedar Point continues to monitor the ever-changing conditions surrounding the pandemic and is actively working with health experts and government officials to maintain the highest safety standards for guests and associates. Guests are encouraged to go to CedarPoint.com for the latest updates on requirements, policies and safety protocols for the 2021 season, as these guidelines may be revised.
