VIDEO: Harry Potter Projection Show “Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle” Test Run At Universal Studios Hollywood
The new “Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle” is scheduled to officially premiere on Friday, June 23rd at Universal Studios Hollywood, but unannounced live technical rehearsals are already taking place.
This weekend Universal Hollywood began unannounced technical rehearsals of its new show “Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle” during regular operating hours. Guests gathered in viewing areas within Hogsmeade Village before testing several 5 minute performances the past few nights. We were lucky enough to be there for one of the first test runs. We streamed the show LIVE on our facebook page as it happened. In case you missed it, we also uploaded it to YouTube Channel.
The Nighttime Lights was inspired by the projection show created for Universal Hollywood’s Wizarding World grand opening last spring. Universal’s creative team worked for more than a year to build a new immersive experience for park guests.
The new “Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle” is scheduled to officially premiere on Friday, June 23rd at Universal Studios Hollywood. It will take place multiple times a night throughout the summer.
