Universal Orlando Releases Holiday Festivities and Exclusive Hotel Rates
Even though we have barely made it into Spring, Universal Orlando is already revealing details regarding their upcoming holiday season. From Nov. 17 – Jan. 6 Universal Orlando will be hosting Holidays At Universal Orlando Resort, a fun event that takes place across the entire resort.
You Never Had A Holiday Like This! At the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade will be transformed with festive décor and brilliant lighting. At Islands of Adventure, a dazzling Night projection of holiday spirit will occur on Hogwarts castle.
Christmas is a special time in the Harry Potter series, and fans from around the world have long wanted to enjoy that part of J.K. Rowlings compelling story for themselves. This November, the Christmas experience in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will give guests a special opportunity to see, feel and even taste what its like to celebrate the magic of Christmas in J.K. Rowlings Wizarding World.
“There are special holiday treats and drinks, and the atmosphere is brimming with excitement. King’s Cross Station features buskers singing holiday favorites and Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees have a special show prepared just for the occasion.”
There is more to the event than the festivities at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. At Islands of Adventure, there will be a classic live action retelling of the Grinch in Seuss Landing, as well as a unique Grinch character breakfast.
Over at the Universal Studios park, there will be other winter events as well. Macy’s is sponsoring a parade within the park consisting of floats featuring beloved characters such as The Minions, Shrek, and those lovable animals from the Madagascar franchise. Likewise, for music fans, Mannheim Steamroller will be hosting live performances from inside the park.
Guests can now book a special vacation package to experience all of Universals epic Holidays entertainment. From now through December 12th, guests can book stays for this holiday event starting at a low rate of $99 per night.
