Universal Celebrates The Super Mario Galaxy Movie with Limited-Time Experiences at SUPER NINTENDO WORLD

Universal is bringing a cosmic twist to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD this spring as the parks celebrate the upcoming release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie with limited-time experiences, themed treats, and exclusive merchandise.

Beginning March 10, guests visiting Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort can take part in special offerings inside SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, all leading up to the film’s premiere on April 1. The celebration runs daily through April 13 and brings new ways for fans to interact with the Mushroom Kingdom while celebrating Mario’s latest big-screen adventure.

One of the highlights of the event will be a limited-time Yoshi meet and greet, appearing at SUPER NINTENDO WORLD in Hollywood and at Universal Epic Universe in Orlando. The colorful character encounter will give guests a chance to snap photos and add a new level of fun to their visit.

The parks will also roll out themed food inspired by the film’s galactic setting.

Rosalina Cupcake: a blue velvet cupcake filled with blueberry cheesecake and topped with lemon buttercream, a chocolate crown, and a star.

Galaxy Popcorn: a multicolored berry flavored popcorn topped with edible glitter that fits perfectly with the cosmic theme.

Fans looking to bring a piece of the adventure home will find exclusive merchandise tied to the film. Among the standout items are new interactive Luma shoulder pals, available in blue and yellow. The shoulder pals feature lights and sound effects and even communicate with each other when placed near one another.

The celebration continues outside the parks at Universal CityWalk Hollywood and Universal CityWalk Orlando, where guests can step into a themed photo opportunity designed like a glowing galactic tunnel inspired by the upcoming film.

Fans can also watch The Super Mario Galaxy Movie at Universal Cinema and Universal Cinemark starting April 1, the same day the film hits theaters worldwide.

With new character encounters, themed treats, interactive merchandise, and photo opportunities across multiple Universal destinations, the limited-time celebration offers Mario fans another reason to power up their visit this spring.
