Six Flags and Peanuts Extend Partnership

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation has announced a five-year extension of its long-standing partnership with Peanuts Worldwide through 2030.

The renewed agreement secures Six Flags as the exclusive amusement park partner for the beloved Peanuts characters across North America, ensuring fans will continue to experience Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the gang in themed areas, live entertainment, retail, food, and exclusive merchandise.

Christian Dieckmann, Six Flags chief commercial officer, emphasized the importance of the collaboration: “We are proud to extend our long-standing partnership with Peanuts, which has delivered so many fun and cherished memories to our guests. Both of our brands are built on bringing families together and creating one-of-a-kind experiences and emotional connections.”

The collaboration between Peanuts and the former Cedar Fair parks dates back to the early 1980s, when Knott’s Berry Farm in California debuted the very first Camp Snoopy. Since then, themed lands and attractions celebrating the Peanuts characters have become a cornerstone for family fun at parks including Carowinds, Kings Island, Kings Dominion, Dorney Park, Canada’s Wonderland, Valleyfair, Worlds of Fun, and more.

Recent years have brought major expansions. Carowinds added two new family-friendly attractions in Camp Snoopy earlier this year, including a launch coaster and an interactive raft ride, the largest investment in family attractions in the park’s history. Kings Island also expanded its award-winning kids’ area in 2024 with the debut of Snoopy’s Soapbox Racers and Beagle Scout Acres, a shaded play space inspired by nature and camping adventures.

Six Flags operates 27 amusement parks, 15 water parks, and nine resort properties across North America, known for thrill rides, immersive family experiences, and iconic brands like DC Comics, Looney Tunes, and Peanuts. The Peanuts franchise, created by Charles M. Schulz in 1950, continues to resonate with fans worldwide through television specials, cultural partnerships, consumer products, and amusement park attractions.

With this renewed partnership, guests can expect even more creative experiences designed to celebrate Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie Brown, and the rest of the Peanuts gang well into the next decade.
