Schwaben Park To Debut Unique Roller Coaster
Back in 2004, HersheyPark shocked the world by announcing Turbulence was coming in the Carrousel Circle section of the iconic park. Turbulance would have been the World’s first Frequent Faller ride from Interactive Rides. It was unique in that not only were riders suspended on the side of the track, the cars would rock back and forth as the cars vertically dropped. However, difficulties soon arose and the project was dropped. Most enthusiasts thought a similar coaster would ever be built…. until now!

There’s a reason why the phrase “never say never” exists. In 2018, Schwaben Park in Germany will debut a similar free spinning roller coaster named Wilde Hilde. The ride, now made by Ride Engineers Switzerland, will stand 82 feet tall and have a length of 328.1 feet. Each ride will take 90 seconds. A fascinating feature of the ride will be it’s weird chicken coop theme.

The park recently released an animation of the unique ride.
Wilde Hilde is expected to open later this summer at Schwaben Park. For tickets and more information, visit the official Schwaben Park website by clicking here.
