Moosehorn Falls, A Giant Boomerang Water Slide Coming To Canada’s Wonderland in 2024
Moosehorn Falls, a new boomerang water slide featuring exciting drops and zero-gravity wall, is coming to Canada’s Wonderland’s Splash Works — a 20-acre waterpark featuring 17 different water slides and water attractions!

Prepare to embark on a thrilling adventure like no other. Set to make its debut next year in Wonderland’s expansive 20-acre waterpark is the awe-inspiring Moosehorn Falls – a colossal water slide that will leave guests breathless! Imagine this: a massive slide boasting a mind-boggling zero-gravity wall at its peak!

This incredible new expedition at Splash Works will accommodate up to six guests, propelling you on an exhilarating journey down a twisting, turning river with heart-pounding drops. And here’s the jaw-dropping twist – you’ll ascend a staggering 13-meter (42 feet) zero-gravity wall! Envision the sensation as you crest the summit, experiencing a moment of weightlessness before gravity gently guides you back down to reality, plunging into a crystal-clear pool below.
The enthusiasm from Phil Liggett, the general manager at Canada’s Wonderland, is palpable. He’s genuinely excited about providing guests with experiences to share with your nearest and dearest. Moosehorn Falls promises to be the ultimate water park escapade for families and friends alike.
Moosehorn Falls draws its inspiration from the mesmerizing waterfalls along the Moosehorn Trail in Fundy National Park, New Brunswick. And guess what? That region is part of the UNESCO-designated Fundy Biosphere – talk about incredible!
“The new water slide is the park’s latest addition of Canadian-themed attractions, venues and events,”
said Liggett. “As Canada’s premier amusement park, we want to celebrate the best this country has to
offer including its natural diversity as well as the adventurous spirit of its people.”
In Canada, there are 19 UNESCO Biosphere Regions where people are working together to protect biodiversity, celebrate cultural heritage, build sustainable and thriving communities and live in balance with nature. Moosehorn Trail is one of fifty ‘Amazing Places’ found within the Fundy Biosphere Region. The trail name was inspired by the antler shape of the river rock sculpted over time through erosion by water, and is home to the endangered Inner Bay of Fundy Atlantic Salmon. Here’s some video footage of the huge waterfall!
