Midnight Syndicate Returning To Cedar Point With All New Show For 2019 HALLOWEEKENDS
After the success of their 2018 “Conspiracy of Shadows” show, Midnight Syndicate will return to Cedar Point’s Halloweekends in 2019 with a bran new performance!
Composers Edward Douglas and Gavin Goszka, known collectively as Midnight Syndicate, will be bringing an all-new immersive performance experience to Cedar Point this fall. After seeing their previous shows, we can attest, you won’t want to miss this!
“Our first three HalloWeekends shows formed a loose trilogy, with many common elements tying them together,” explains Gavin Goszka. “Now that the trilogy has reached its conclusion, we wanted to take things in a bit of a new direction.”
“The new show has a little something for everyone,” added Edward Douglas. “I think fans of ‘The Twilight Zone’ series in particular are really going to enjoy it.”
Midnight Syndicate creates symphonic soundtracks to imaginary films that facilitate a transcendental and adventurous escape into the secret dimensions of the mind’s eye. To many of their fans, they are Gothic music pioneers brewing a signature blend of orchestral horror music and movie-style sound effects. To others, they remain the first “haunted house band” that forever changed the Halloween music genre and became a staple of the October holiday season.
Midnight Syndicate’s music has become integral to setting a powerful mood at top-rated haunted attractions and amusement parks as well as at costume shops, gaming and Halloween parties and Halloween-themed cruises from Siberia and Hong Kong, to Europe and the United States. If you have walked through a haunted attraction over the last decade, there’s a good chance you’ve heard their music. Haunted Attraction Industry expert Leonard Pickel estimated that 75-90% of the attractions in the haunted house industry own at least one Midnight Syndicate CD.
“I use an array of Midnight Syndicate tracks at the haunted attractions i have produced. Their symphonic tracks really set the mood, especially when used to fill large outdoor spaces” said Dan Hower, owner of Coaster Nation and Haunted House Producer.
