Kings Island Adds Bonus Weekend of Fun Before WinterFest

As the fog clears and the Halloween Haunt creatures retreat for the year, Kings Island is already preparing for its next big celebration, WinterFest. Before the twinkling lights and festive tunes take over, the park has a special surprise for thrill-seekers. For the first time ever, Kings Island will host a “bonus weekend” on November 8 and 9, giving guests two extra days of coaster-packed fun before the park transforms for the holidays.

During this special weekend, visitors can enjoy the traditional Kings Island experience with no Haunt or Tricks and Treats activities, just rides, games, and plenty of good food. The park will be open from 11am to 7pm both days, and admission is included with Gold or Prestige Passes. Single-day tickets can also be purchased online.

Most attractions will be open (weather permitting), including favorites such as Orion, Banshee, The Racer, and Planet Snoopy. The Beast and Eiffel Tower will remain closed as the park prepares for the winter season. Guests are encouraged to use the Kings Island mobile app to check ride availability during their visit.

When it’s time to refuel, guests can grab BBQ at Coney Bar-B-Que, enjoy a burger at Miami River Brewhouse, or satisfy their sweet tooth at Coney Confections.

Shoppers can pick up early holiday gifts and HAUNT merchandise sales at Coaster Connection, plus, midway games will be open for those ready to keep their winning streak going.

WinterFest begins on November 28.
