Everything to Know About SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Tickets
Planning a vacation to Central Florida can be complicated, especially if you’re planning it by yourself without a travel agent or someone who’s familiar with the area. Just like our guide for Walt Disney World and Universal, we’ve put together a guide for SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa.
Single day tickets:
First, remember that the best prices can be found online on the parks’ websites. As of March 19, 2017, single day tickets for SeaWorld are $79.99 online, or $99.99 at the front entrance. Busch Gardens Tampa tickets are $89.99 online, and $104.99 at the gate.
Choose Your Adventure Tickets:
Single day tickets might seem expensive; however, there are some much better valued options, and those are the Choose Your Adventure multi day tickets. If you’d like to spend one day at each park, you can purchase a 2 day ticket online for $109.99 (or $139.99 at the entrance). A 3 day ticket is $119.99 online, or $149.99 at the entrance. Once you use your first visit, you have 180 days to use the second and third visits. You can use these at SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Aquatica, or Adventure Island. After the 180 days, the tickets will expire. Remember that these ticket options do not include parking.
The best option is the Unlimited Choose Your Adventure ticket. This is $149.99 online, or $169.99 at the entrance. These Unlimited tickets are good for 14 days (ticket expires 13 days after first use) at all four parks, and parking is included! Since parking is included, it is a much better value than the two or three days tickets. You can purchase all of the Choose Your Adventure tickets by clicking here.
Another option is the Fun Card, which is the price of a single day ticket. You can pay for a day and come back all year until December 31. A Busch Gardens Tampa Fun Card costs $104.99, and SeaWorld is $99.99. They are good for unlimited admission through the end of the year, but remember that parking is not included, so always make sure you go to the parks with someone who has an annual pass. Follow these links for single day tickets and Fun Cards for SeaWorld and Busch Gardens.
The best value if you plan to visit at least twice is an annual pass. A pass for SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens is only $168.00 (or $14.00 per month)! If you’d like to add Aquatica or Adventure Island, it’s $192, or $16.00 per month. Annual passes include free parking and unlimited admission 365 days from purchase. Annual passes also include monthly benefits, such as free lanyards, ornaments, and 50% off tickets for friends visiting. Annual passes and Fun Cards online and in person are both the same price.
Whenever people travel, they might ask for a discount on their ticket or annual pass. Purchasing tickets through a third party (like a travel agency or hotel) is always a great idea. You’d purchase your tickets and go immediately to the park entrance and skip the ticket lines! Ask your hotel if they sell any tickets before going to the park.
SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, and Adventure Island offer the Waves of Honor program, which allows free admission into one of the parks once per year for the sponsor and up to three dependents.
Everyone is eligible to purchase annual passes, Fun Cards, or Choose Your Adventure tickets. There are no Florida resident discounts on any products. The parks also offer AAA (bring a membership card) and senior discounts at the ticket windows. If you know someone who has an annual pass, they can purchase 50% off single day tickets at the park or through the pass member Website.
Since Annual Passes and Fun Cards are such great values to begin with, there are no discounts on any of them. Also, remember that SeaWorld annual pass members will be able to utilize the Bring a Friend for Free tickets during January and September, plus, Busch Gardens pass members receive a free ticket during their birthday month!
