Cedar Point Hosting Total Eclipse of the Point Off-Season Event

Cedar Point, renowned for its thrilling rides and scenic views, is set to witness a rare celestial event as it falls directly in the path of totality for the upcoming event; Total Eclipse of The Point. This once-in-a-lifetime celebration promises an unforgettable experience for attendees.

Scheduled to take place at Cedar Point on April 8th, attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to enjoy select rides on The Boardwalk and Kiddy Kingdom before the Saturday, May 3 public opening.

Additionally, guests can indulge in specialty food and drinks at the Grand Pavilion Restaurant & Bar while immersing themselves in the lively atmosphere with a live DJ, kids’ activities, games, and more.

From approximately 2 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., guests will experience darkness in the middle of the afternoon. From the sandy shores of the beach to the elevated viewing decks at the Grand Pavilion, Cedar Point offers prime viewing spots for this historic event. However, due to limited capacity, interested individuals are encouraged to reserve their spots promptly to avoid missing out on this extraordinary experience.

Keep in mind, this is a ticketed event. You must have an Eclipse event ticket for April 8, 2024 to enter. Season Passes will not be valid on April 8, 2024 to visit the park or utilize parking during this event. Currently, three ticket packages are available starting at $99.

Guests can upgrade to a bundle which includes a Single Meal Deal at the Grand Pavilion Restaurant & Bar. Enjoy a selection of out-of-this-world delights like Honey Glazed Chicken Drumsticks, Ginger Soy Eye of Round Steak, Funnel Cake Shrimp, Galaxy Cheesecake Brownie Bars, Moon Pies, specialty cocktails and more.

If thats not enough, guests can also attend as a VIP! Experience the eclipse in VIP style and enjoy a 30-minute exclusive experience at the top of the Valravn roller coaster via the lift elevator where you will get once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunities with spectacular views of Cedar Point and the eclipse.
