Busch Gardens Williamsburg Offers Refreshing Perks and Summer Thrills During 50th Anniversary Celebration

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is raising the bar on summer fun with the return of fan-favorite perks and all-new attractions as part of its milestone 50th Anniversary Celebration. From June 23 through July 31, guests can enjoy a cool tradition with the return of Free Beer!

Members, Annual Pass Holders, and Military Pass Members can enjoy one complimentary beer per day, while all guests 21 and older are invited to sip and celebrate with two additional beers available daily for just 50 cents each. The offerings are available at the Willkommenhaus in the Germany section of the park, with a rotating tap list featuring both popular domestics and refreshing craft brews.

This year’s summer lineup brings more than just cold drinks—guests can also enjoy an array of new shows, treats, and unforgettable experiences.

New to the Festhaus stage is We Are Oktoberfest, a lively German-themed show filled with traditional music, spirited dancing, and interactive fun. Featuring a charismatic Burgermeister MC and live musicians, the show invites guests to raise a stein, sing along, and celebrate Bavarian-style in honor of the park’s golden jubilee.

Also new this season: specialty food and drink offerings to satisfy every summer craving. Guests can dig into Bacon Jalapeño Fries at Pigs in a Kilt, or indulge in a Blueberry Cheesecake Funnel Cake from Three Rivers Snacks—just a taste of the flavorful surprises available throughout the park.

The spotlight also shines on The Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf’s Revenge, North America’s longest family inverted coaster, now open. Set in a charming Bavarian village turned ominous by the return of a legendary creature, this all-new ride races through more than 2,500 feet of twists, turns, and immersive storytelling at speeds up to 40 miles per hour. With a minimum height requirement of just 42 inches (with a supervising companion), it’s designed for families to ride together.

Each Saturday night, Summer of Wonder wraps up with a dazzling fireworks finale.
