Explore the Wonders Hidden Within Universal’s New Epic Universe Theme Park

Universal Orlando’s Preview Center for the much-anticipated Epic Universe invites visitors to explore an exciting first look at the five immersive worlds that will form the heart of the new theme park, set to debut in 2025. Located at CityWalk, the Preview Center showcases innovative designs and attractions, giving guests a glimpse into the groundbreaking experiences that await them.

Leading the charge in developing this ambitious project is Universal Creative, a global team of over 500 innovators responsible for designing, constructing, and bringing to life Universal’s groundbreaking experiences.

Before any construction begins, the team creates detailed models to visualize new attractions and worlds. For the first time, Universal Orlando has placed one of these massive models on public display, giving visitors an exclusive glimpse into the future of the park. Let’s take a closer look at various aspects of the display.

The model is a stunning representation of the entire park, showcasing its massive scale and intricate details. It allows guests to visualize and learn the layout of the new theme park and its diverse attractions before they even step foot inside.

The Helios Grand Hotel, a luxurious 500-room property with a dedicated entrance to the park, will provide guests with one-of-a-kind views of the attractions. Visitors can enjoy a rooftop bar, a full-service restaurant, a poolside bar, and a convenient grab-and-go station for quick meals, enhancing their overall experience while staying on-site.

As shown in the model below, Starfall Racers, one of the five new coasters at Universal Epic Universe, will offer an exhilarating experience with dual launches reaching speeds of up to 62mph. The coaster will feature an inverted crisscross, known as the “celestial spin,” and a dazzling nighttime display with millions of lights, making the vehicles resemble comets. Riders can race side-by-side, enjoy two tophat elements, and even exchange “high-fives” during the crossover.

Universal’s How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk at Epic Universe will transport guests into a vibrant world filled with Viking adventures. Visitors can explore the mythical Isle of Berk, interact with beloved characters, and experience a variety of attractions. As seen below, highlighting this land is a thrilling family coaster where guests can soar alongside Hiccup and Toothless, reaching speeds of up to 45 mph. This immersive environment captures the heart of the film trilogy, promising fun and excitement for the whole family.

Next, we dive into Super Nintendo World — a land that will transport guests into the vibrant worlds of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Donkey Kong. The immersive land will feature attractions such as Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, a groundbreaking ride blending augmented reality with familiar gameplay, and Yoshi’s Adventure, a family-friendly exploration through the Mushroom Kingdom. Visitors can also enjoy themed dining and shopping, meet beloved characters, and use Power-Up Bands for interactive experiences throughout the park.

Shown below is the Donkey Kong-themed roller coaster, where guests embark on a thrilling mine cart adventure through the jungle, inspired by the iconic Donkey Kong video games.

The Dark Universe land at Universal Epic Universe invites guests into a chilling realm inspired by classic Universal monsters. This area will feature a thrilling werewolf-themed coaster that promises an adrenaline-pumping adventure. Visitors will encounter legendary creatures like Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Wolfman, all brought to life through innovative attractions and immersive environments, creating a captivating experience that celebrates Universal’s rich horror legacy.
